David Fobes has just returned from the 58th Meeting of Nobel Laureates and Students in Lindau, Germany with focus on Physics.
The meeting was a week long conference of 24 Nobel Laureates and ~560 students from 67 countries chosen out of over 20,000 applicants.
Thanks to Tulane University for the nomination, Oak Ridge Associated Universities for the sponsorship, and to Sam Held at ORISE for all the support and planning that he provided the American Delegation. – David
In other news, this past March our group attended the APS March Meeting, held in New Orleans at the downtown convention center.
